Halifax, NS – Elvatech Canada, supplier of advanced XRF analytical instruments and solutions, announced the opening of its new office in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The expansion is aimed at supporting customers across Atlantic Canada with faster service, local demonstrations and improved logistics.
The Halifax office will act as a regional hub for sales, technical support and training for users of handheld, benchtop and specialized XRF systems. According to the company, locating a team in Nova Scotia will shorten response times for customers in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland and Labrador, where interest in non-destructive elemental analysis has been steadily growing in mining, metallurgy, recycling, environmental and academic sectors.
“Our client base in Atlantic Canada has become very active, and it was time to be physically closer,” said the company representative. “Having people and demo units on the ground in Halifax means customers can see instruments in real conditions, get help with applications and receive service without waiting for someone to fly in from central Canada.”
The new office will offer:
on-site demonstrations of XRF analyzers (including jewelry, metals and mining configurations);
application support for customers working with complex matrices;
assistance with NRCan radiation safety requirements and operator training;
coordination of service, calibration and preventive maintenance.
Elvatech Canada noted that Halifax was selected thanks to its growing industrial base, port infrastructure and convenient access to the rest of Atlantic Canada.
