ElvaX Jewelry Lab

Developed for chemical analysis of precious metals and jewelry

ElvaX Jewelry Lab was designed for the highest accuracy of chemical analysis of jewelry and precious metals. Analysis takes only several seconds. Achieved results show up on the screen of the spectrometer in both percent share and karats. ElvaX Jewelry Lab is also used effectively for coatings detection to reveal fake precious metals and nonstandard alloys. Jewelry Lab is also operated either by using the built-in computer with the high-resolution touchscreen display, or using any laptop with ElvaX™ software installed. The integrated CCD camera allows to aim any required spot of the sample being analyzed. Built-in collimator changer allows to change the required spot diameter for measurement. ElvaX Jewelry Lab combines highly accurate scales and an integrated printer, which allows any operator to print out analytical results indicating date, time, chemical composition, weight and estimated price for the measured sample. The spectrometer has rechargeable Li-ion batteries which allow to make chemical analysis on-situ. ElvaX Jewelry Lab is an ideal benchtop spectrometer for chemical analysis of gold, silver and other precious metals of jewelry to define purity and measure assay.

X-ray fluorescence analysis is necessary for many applications in terms of fast, accurate and simple analysis. This is a non-destructive method of analysis which is critically important for analysis of jewelry. The built-in collimator allows to make chemical analysis at the diameter of 1 mm and larger analytical spot which can be easily changed.
