Enhanced Sample Preparation: The ELVATECH cup liner allows for the compression of powdered materials such as minerals and soils into a dense, homogeneous form. This feature is particularly beneficial in field settings, ensuring that your samples are prepared consistently for accurate analysis.

The cup liner (CL307): The cup liner helps to press material with your finger to achieve a denser sample. Remember: the stronger the compression, the better the results. A more homogeneous and compacted material will provide greater precision and repeatability.

Stage 1.
Take a container, a lid, a sealing ring and a QR code sticker and stick the sticker to the lid.
Stage 2.
Take XRF film (mylar, prolene, polypropylene etc which depends on your application https://elvatech.ca/product-category/consumables/thin-film-sample-support-windows/ ) and cover the container and after that cover this with the sealing ring.
Stage 3.
Ensure the film is undamaged and place the container, the lid and the sealing ring on a clean sheet of paper to prevent contamination of the XRF film.
Stage 4.
For convenient pouring of material into the plastic container, use a paper funnel PF-2024. This will also help prevent spillage around the cup, cross-contamination between different samples, and contamination of the part of the container where the XRF film is installed.
Stage 5.
For convenient pouring of material, we recommend using disposable 5-milliliter plastic spoons (TSP-05).
Stage 6.
Remove the paper funnel (PF-2024) from the container.
Stage 7.
Take the cup liner (CL307), cover the material in the container, and press it firmly with your finger to achieve a denser sample. Remember: the stronger the compression, the better the results. A more homogeneous and compacted material will provide greater precision and repeatability. Make sure to perform this process on a clean, disposable sheet of paper to avoid contamination, and be careful not to tear the XRF film. Stage 8.
Clean the cup with a dry wipe or paper towel.
Stage 9.
Ensure the container is clean and cover it with the lid with the QR code (QRC-19). The cup (PSC30716) is done for testing.
